💰 Financial Help & Patient Rights

Cancer treatment can be expensive, but there is help available. You have rights as a patient.

Free Government Hospital Treatment
All government cancer hospitals (including Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama) provide free diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy to all Sri Lankan citizens.
President's Fund
Provides financial assistance for surgery and treatment. Apply through your hospital's social services department.
ETF/EPF Medical Benefits
If you or your spouse is employed, you may be eligible to withdraw funds from ETF/EPF for medical treatment.
Cancer Society of Sri Lanka
Provides accommodation for outstation patients, emotional support, and financial assistance. Contact: +94 112 501 572
